Buddha for your blues - Chapter 01

Life is a matter of choices. Every choice you make in life makes your life. Some you are proud of, some you regret and some will haunt you forever. In all, choices are the very fabric of your life’s design.

If choices are your destiny designers, the crucial question is Do YOU make your life choices?

Make you must. At least in matters that impact you most, make you must.

What will you have for dinner tonight? is small and has only an insignificant impact on your life. But, what should you opt for your higher education? or whom should you marry? are big decisions. The choices that can infinitely impact your life. Hence, at least henceforth, ignore the noise and make your own choice.

Now how do you make your choices?

Many of you reading this are the ones who tell your alarm to wake you up early in the morning and push the snooze button several times when that poor thing rings. Isn’t there an irresistible invitation inside you to avoid getting up and embrace sleep?

Now, why do you choose to snooze? Simply because you have affiliated that extra ten minutes to pleasure and getting up to pain. When your choices hatch from your likes and dislikes, you choose to embrace what is easy and avoid what is difficult. Eventually, You’re in a hurry. Enough time isn’t spent even on your potty. Your shower wouldn’t be pleasurable and relaxing as it should be. You wouldn’t have a proper breakfast. You will find yourself racing against time.

If your choice is induced by what is easy and what is not, then sleeping is easy. If your choice is based on what you like and what you dislike, once again, you will select to sleep. On the other hand, if your choice is transfixed to what is RIGHT and what is WRONG, the answer is different. You get out of bed and conquer the time between waking up and getting up. You are blessed with an extended lease of life. You are seldom under stress. In all, you will eventually get to see a sea change in your life.

Every moment of life offers you an infinite number of choices. For every choice you implement, you invite a consequence. From now on, let your choices be rooted to what is right and what is wrong.

Here, you’ve got to hit upon a big question.
